Lighted Boat Parade

Kick off your holiday with us! Each year, San Rafael unofficially celebrates the beginning of the holiday season with its annual Lighted Boat Parade in the San Rafael Canal. Boaters throughout Marin County take great care in preparing their vessels for what is now one of the largest lighted boat parades in the nation. Unique lighting schemes and creative holiday themes reflect the labor and talent of Marin’s maritime community and their devotion to bringing holiday cheer to the hundreds of residents who line the canal parade route.

The parade for 2009 is scheduled for Thursday, December 10th at 6pm.  Find your favorite viewing location along the canal and enjoy the festiviities on the water.  Contact SRYC for more information.
